A Brave IT guy
How to avoid typing, a profile on My HOH publisher Joe D'Eramo and the 3 3 mistakes home-based business make with cyber security
“Fastest, most secure browser I've ever used! Think of it as Chrome on steriods! :)” That’s how my IT guy—Paul LaFlamme of Whiz Kid Support--described the Brave browser.
When the Whiz Kid talks, I listen👂.
This Brave recommendation was not volunteered. It was offered as a better solution to DuckDuckGo. Given some recent issues using DuckDuckGo with Constant Contact and LinkedIn, I’m game.
If anybody else is, ahem, Brave enough to try with me, the link to download is below.
Zooming by myself
This wasn’t necessarily a cry for help. Just looking to avoid typing text from a book. With the transcription as part of my Zoom package, it was a good resolution. And all it took was reading the section of the book aloud and recording.
Not everybody has this function for their video calls. But there are a number of apps out there that do voice-to-text. Samsung’s voice recorder did just fine for me on another project. I spoke into my phone and then copied and emailed the text to myself.
If you are ever in that situation where you need to type a lot of stuff, it can be much easier to read and then edit the text—voice to text is not 100 percent accurate. But it will certainly save you time overall.
