My “off” week
20 catches in on my catch journey. For the paid subscribers, my ChatGPT secret (and free) weapon.
To start, thank you for subscribing and reading My Home Office Hacks. Hopefully, you enjoy reading at least half as much as I do putting it out.
Does that mean I enjoy it twice as much as you?
It must as there was a definite void in the week. Yet rest and recreation are an essential part of staying sharp and creative. Especially when you do some meaningful things during that time. For example:
Last Sunday, I played catch with Scott Yelle. He’s the inspiration for me playing catch 30 times in honor of my late stepson. Scott started on January 27, his late son’s birthday. That’s the same day I started. Only Scott has played catch every day since. It’s all to benefit the Jackson Yelle Foundation. You can learn more about the Foundation here. Here’s my Instagram post on our game of catch.
The Hack
Find a cause. It’s a great way to get out of the office and engage with people in person. Yours truly regularly volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and am an active participant in the Mankind Project.
