Jeremy from my networking had a very intriguing Zoom background. It was a photo of the mountains in Colombia. Then he threw out the fact that he was now living in Colombia, at least for the winter.
What? How can you do that? Your business is in the northeast!
Well, for starters, Colombia is on EDT during the winter months as they do not observe daylight savings.
Second, according to Jeremy, you can find temporary accommodations for a very reasonable rate. As long as it had a reliable wifi. Since the work Jeremy does as owner of Monte Verdi Commercial Capital--a diversified commercial finance company offering alternative lending solutions-- requires but a phone and the internet, he literally can work anywhere. Even in another country.
So while Jeremy chose Colombia, where would you work from if you could? Even on just a temporary basis?
Here’s an article yours truly recently came across an article listing the top 5 places in the world to work from home. Check it out and let us know where would you choose to work from these five. Or suggest an alternative. From this list, I would probably go with Austin.

Inspiring quote of the week
This one is from a former co-worker. It made me smile.
“An advantage to remote work that I hadn’t thought of before today… you can eat a hard-boiled egg 5 minutes before a meeting without worrying about killing everyone in the meeting with your egg breath. 😊”
That’s all for now! I dare you to…
