Great read. We're on the everyday ColdShower train as well.

I've taken it one step further. I live on a pond. Up here in the northeast, it's still cold. Stood in the water up to my chest for 10 minutes. Felt great!

Hey Joe. Glad to hear you are into cold showers now. I applaud your efforts.

I started taking cold showers about 1980, and have conservatively taken over 200 a year since then. That's over 8000! Ha ha ha. I just love them. Clears my head, seems to boost my immune system. I especially like them when I am not feeling well, and also learned the technique of alternating cold and hot, 1 min each, for about 15 minutes. Really helps get over an illness. I originally came to them through doing Kundalini Yoga, as they are recommended first thing in the morning, before doing a yoga practice....https://www.3ho.org/article/cold-showers/

Great article, Jim. I'm not sure I'm going to be taking showers in shorts, but good to know you should protect that area. Thanks for sharing!

What were some of the key benefits, Nadia, if you don't mind sharing?

I will take a look at The Speed of Trust.

Interesting, Nadia. I have noticed all of the above after 36 days. My appetite has definitely increased. I just thought it was the winter. I don't weigh myself. I go by how I feel. But I do feel much better since starting this habit.
